Quickly, before we leave on our honeymoon, Mike and I would love to extend our gratitude to all our friends and family who attended our wedding. We had a wonderful time and hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did. Like Mike said to me, it was all of our guests who made it great!
I’ve only had time to upload a few of the photos…Go to the Gail and Mike’s Wedding Site on Olapic to view them and add your own. Can’t wait to see them all!

A big shout out to Tanis, who will be one of the bridesmaids in the wedding, for being the first to add photos on the Olapic photosharing website. And now a plea for everyone else to add any photos they would like to share.
Go to Gail and Mike’s Wedding on Olapic to view them and share your own!

Some of you should have received an e-mail that looks something like this:
If you didn’t, please don’t feel bad, it probably just means I don’t have your (correct) e-mail address. In any case, you are all invited to share your photos from the wedding and any other wedding weekend activites on the Olapic website. As a side note, please send you e-mail address if you’d like to be included (gailmikewedding@gmail.com).
I picked this site to share the photos on for a few reasons:
*The ability to share all photos at original size.
*Everyone can upload and download these photos for free.
*Ability to set any albums to private or to password protected. (Please advise me if there are any photos posted that you would prefer to be private.)
*Storage for one full year. After the year is up, I will have downloaded all photos, so contact me then if there are any you missed.
In short, please visit The Gail & Mike Wedding Site at Olapic to share ALL your photos! It would be MUCH appreciated!!

My friend Liz threw me a WONDERFUL wedding shower at her home today. Some family members drove up from Cape Coral and Sarasota, and there were friends from Port Orange, on the “other side”, as well as friends from the area here. It was great to have everyone there–we had a great time! Liz presented a yummy spread with mini quiche, finger sandwiches, fresh fruit and veggies with dips, cajun shrimp, and delicious cookies, to name only a few of the goodies. She also organized some funny games, including toilet-paper wedding dress, bridal bingo, and a cotton ball game. And she even provided gifts for the winners of each game! It really was a nice time!
Here are a few photos below. The full selection may be viewed at http://gailmikewedding.olapic.com .

This post is really a big thanks to my fiancé, Mike. He knew I was feeling down and sent me off to the salon to see Markus, who I consider a master colorist. I took a picture of my “new look” to share.
Thanks again Mikie for treating me to a bit of primping!!

My step-father, Frank Middlemiss, passed away Wednesday night. I have so many emotions floating through me right now, I don’t know what to feel any more! I thought some great photos of Frank would honor him….Actually, he was a pretty goofy, fun-loving guy, so it was a bit of a challenge to find some of him “being normal.” Maybe we should take that as a reminder to have fun and not take things too seriously.
