Sandals seems a bit cheesy, but we’ve been thinking we like the “all-inclusive” aspect. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?? Please comment and let us know!!

I was trying to resist the urge to say that it’s the FINAL COUNTDOWN (with 80s theme playing in my head)….  But obviously the urge was way too strong!

How exciting!! Our first wedding gift arrived in the mail today!

Thank you to Holly and Jim (my sister and brother-in-law)  for this beautiful set!!  They recently traveled to Chile and found it there.  You can’t really see the detail in the photo, but it is embedded with lapis lazuli, the “stone of Chile”.  We will treasure it always.

Mikie (finally) updated his side of our engagement story.  I am verklempt after reading it.  What a great guy I have!

So very exciting!!  We had a ladies’ day out at Jon’s Bridal in Tampa: my mom, my aunt, my mom’s best friend and her sister all attended to me.  There were two dresses that were front runners…but everyone said how nice the final choice looked, so I was sold, too.  Unfortunately, I can’t really share any photos yet.  You’ll just have to wait for the big day.  But Jon’s was great!!  Our salesperson Gigi really helped whittle down the many choices.  Even better, all their dresses are off-the-rack; meaning, no waiting for the “real” dress to arrive and only trying on samples.  My dress will be at home with me within the week!  Now, how do I hide it from the fiance when we are in a one-bedroom apartment??
